Privacy Policy

Short version

• We do not ask for your phone number, verification code, or PIN.
• The appeal generator runs in your browser. We do not save your appeal text.
• Optional AI rewrite requests are sent to our server with the appeal text and the action only — never your phone number.
• We use privacy-friendly analytics (page views, anonymous events) — no cross-site tracking.
• We do not sell your data. We do not share data with brokers or third-party advertisers.

What we collect

Information you provide

When you use the appeal generator you may optionally enter a first name, country, and a short explanation. This content is processed in your browser to assemble the appeal text. We do not store it on our servers unless you explicitly send a rewrite request (see below).

Rewrite (AI) requests

If you tap "Make shorter," "Make more formal," or "Translate," your appeal text and the chosen action are sent to our server. We process the request and return the rewritten text. We do not retain the appeal text after the response is returned, and we never receive your phone number, verification code, or any other identifier.

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand which pages are visited and which tools are used. We collect anonymised metrics such as page URL, country, referrer, device type, and event names (e.g. "generate_personal_click"). We do not use cookies that follow you across sites, and we do not build advertising profiles.

Server logs

Our hosting provider may store standard server logs (IP address, user agent, request timestamp) for operational, security, and abuse-prevention purposes. These logs are retained for a short period and are not used for marketing.

What we do not collect

• Your WhatsApp phone number, in any form.
• Your WhatsApp 6-digit verification code or two-step PIN.
• Your WhatsApp chats, contacts, or backups.
• Government-issued identity documents.
• Payment information (we do not currently process payments).

Cookies

We use only the strictly necessary cookies required to operate the site (for example to remember your language choice). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Third-party services

The following services may process limited, anonymised data on our behalf:

• Hosting / CDN for delivering the site (server logs as described above).
• Privacy-friendly analytics for aggregate page-view and event metrics.
• AI rewrite provider (when configured) for the optional rewrite endpoint, receiving the appeal text and action only.

We do not embed third-party social trackers, advertising pixels, or session-replay tools.

Children's privacy

BanAppealGenerator.com is not directed to children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Because we collect so little, in most cases the answer to a deletion request is "we do not have any data to delete." You can still contact us if you have specific concerns.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy materially, we will update the "Last updated" date above and post a clear note on the homepage.
