Editorial Policy
How we research, fact-check, and update content on this site.
Last updated May 17, 2026
Why we publish
WhatsApp bans cause real anxiety for individuals and small businesses. The information that ranks for "WhatsApp ban appeal" queries is often misleading, hyped, or outright fraudulent (e.g. "guaranteed unban services"). Our goal is to publish clear, accurate, policy-aware content that helps users follow WhatsApp's official appeal channels without falling for scams.
Sourcing
We base our guidance on:
- WhatsApp's official help center (faq.whatsapp.com) and Terms of Service.
- The WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and Commerce Policy.
- Meta Business Help Center documentation for the Business Platform / API.
- Publicly reported user experiences from credible community forums.
- Our own hands-on testing of the in-app Request a Review flow when accessible.
When we cite a specific WhatsApp policy, we link to the official source.
What we will not do
- We will not recommend or link to unofficial WhatsApp apps (GB WhatsApp, YoWhatsApp, FMWhatsApp, WhatsApp Plus, etc.).
- We will not promote any "unban service" — these are scams.
- We will not publish bypass, anti-detection, or evasion tactics.
- We will not encourage users to lie in their appeals.
- We will not write content optimised purely for clicks at the expense of accuracy.
Generator output principles
Every appeal message produced by our generators follows these rules:
- Polite, simple language.
- Honest framing — no claim that the user is "completely innocent" when behavior suggests otherwise.
- No threats to the platform, no promises of future marketing.
- For users who admit to unofficial WhatsApp, the message states that they have switched back.
- For business users, the message emphasises opt-in, opt-out, and use case.
Updates and corrections
Each article has a "Published" and "Last updated" date. If WhatsApp's policies or appeal flow change, we update the relevant articles. If we publish something inaccurate, we correct it and add a brief note explaining what changed.

AI usage
Our appeal generation uses structured templates by default. When an AI provider is configured, the rewrite endpoint may use AI to shorten, formalise, or translate appeals. Editorial review by a human is required for any AI-generated content published as an article on this site.
Funding
BanAppealGenerator.com is funded by the operator. We are not paid by Meta or WhatsApp. We do not accept paid placements in our articles. If we ever add advertising or affiliate links, they will be clearly disclosed.
